Prevalence of Toxocara Vitulorum in Calves in Afyonkarahisar, Turkey

This study was conducted to determine the prevalence of Toxocara vitulorum in calves Afyonkarahisar between March 2018 and April 2019. Faecal samples from 603 22 different villages province Turkey were randomly collected examined for presence T. eggs using Fülleborn saturated saltwater flotation method. A total five (0.83%) found be infected with vitulorum. All faeces belonged animals 0-6 months age. The infection males 0.97% 0.68% females. There no statistically significant difference by either breed or gender (P> 0.05).
